First Week!

This first week was awesome! Starting out day 1 kayaking (or in my case canoeing) was a perfect way to start off this course. I'm so excited to meet new people and learn about the different jobs they do. This week I found Ethan and John's lectures particularly interesting. The cores Ethan showed us were unlike any I have seen in my Coastal and Watershed Geology class. The cores I have seen did not have clear facies like these. Also, seeing the seafloor spreading model in John's lecture helped me to understand the topic better. I found all of the lectures really interesting and I am eager to learn more. See you all at UWF!
