I can't believe that this journey is over, for the past five and a half weeks we have all been traveling to different regions of Florida and experiencing different ecosystems and learning the different sampling methods used to collect data. At first this course seemed as though it would be overwhelming in the amount of work required to complete a task and not much time to sit back and enjoy our time at each and every location, but the time spent was enjoyable and very educational.
The sites that held most interest are UNF- its 24hr sampling at GTMNERR and actually seeing the how tidal levels affect an organism activeness also seeing a contrast in substrate between the river system and lake, the other is of course the Keys Marine Lab- here we were able to experience an active coral reef system and having to know the fish, coral and macroalgae  ID's. But by far my favorite thing about this trip was meeting and talking to the instructors on a one to one basses and picking there brains. This trip has also allowed me to share in laughs and make some extraordinary bonds that I will never forget.
